Children and young people are important to us. On Sunday mornings we have children’s groups with age-specific teaching about Jesus. Once a month we have a Family Service when everyone is together for the whole service.
Mid week we have a Toddlers Group and three Clubs aimed at various ages of youngsters in Stone. We are also closely involved with our local schools: Christ Church First, Oulton First, Christ Church Academy and Alleyne’s Academy
PLEASE NOTE: for the most up-to-date information please contact the Church Office or read the weekly notice sheet.
Sunday Morning Services
For babies and toddlers (0-2) we have a crèche area at the back of church equipped with toys, puzzles and books. Carers and children are welcome to sit here as needed during the service. Alternatively, the central room of the church centre normally has the service played over the speakers. This room is particularly useful if you need some privacy or your children are being extra noisy!
Older children (3-11) have a Sunday School group during the service. Children begin the service together with adults, then leave for their group after the children’s song. In their group they will be taught the Bible in a fun and safe environment. They will be in the church centre after the service, or, when there is communion, they will join back in with the church when the communion liturgy begins.

Schools
Christ Church has two church schools: Christ Church First School and Christ Church Academy We also have close links with Oulton First School since Oulton-with-Moddershall is part of the same benefice as Christ Church.
Most weeks the Vicar or Youth Worker takes an assembly in these three schools. The Middle School also has a Christian lunchtime club called ‘Pursuit Club’ which meets on Tuesdays. Oulton First School has a Trekkers club that meets on Thursday afternoons for children of the school.
