It was with great joy that we were able to hold a confirmation service at Christ Church, after a very long time when such things had been impossible. Three candidates, one from All Saints Moddershall, one from St John’s Oulton, and one from Christ Church, were confirmed by Matthew Parker, Bishop of Stafford. The candidates Maureen, Margaret and Gary, each chose a hymn and testimonies were given.

A large congregation turned out to support the confirmees in their step of affirmation of their Christian faith. The service was followed by a shared tea in the Centre, where the tables groaned under the feast that had been provided.

Many thanks to all who helped with the service, food preparation, serving and washing up afterwards.
