Once per year we invite those who have been bereaved to a special service. We especially invite those who have been bereaved in the last year. This year’s service is on Sunday 13th November at 4.00 p.m. in Christ Church, Stone. We aim to contact the families who we met as a result of arranging funerals of their relatives or friends. However, the service is open to others who would like to attend, as we recognise that grief is something that we live with for a long while. The aim of this simple service is to give thanks to God for those we mourn over but also to receive strength from God for the future. If you intend to come then it is helpful to contact the Benefice office with some details so that your loved one can be remembered during the service. Paul Kingman
