We have launched a new club called Trekkers for first school age children – and it has been going well! We have met Wednesday afternoons with some children from Christ Church First School. They enjoy a drink and a biscuit, run around playing a couple of games, then listen and discuss some Bible teaching, and then finish with a craft. We even got out the paints last time! So far, we have covered a few of Jesus’ parables, including the Good Samaritan and the Prodigal Son.

We will be on a brief summer hiatus, but then we’ll be back in full force in September.

As ever the club needs helpers to run! Do get in touch if you are free on a Wednesday afternoon between 3.30 and 4.20.

Things seem to be looking up after the pandemic, with opportunities arising and doors opening. Do pray that we will continue to follow God’s wisdom and share his love with all the children that come to us.
