Stone Carnival 2010

Saturday 12th June saw the annual Stone Carnival in full swing; the glorious sunshine helped swell the crowds lining the High Street as the parade of floats, walking displays, along with military and vintage vehicles, made their way to Westbridge Park.

The team from Christ Church who decorated the float holding the youngsters from Breathe, Lighthouse and The Rock youth groups had excelled on the theme “Are you tired and troubled… Jesus will give you a rest.”

Adam, Tom, Tim, Marcus, and guest drummer Sam, had the crowds tapping their feet to some great Christian Music as the kids sang along – a great day.
