For the fifth year Christ Church is excited to be coordinating the Advent Windows project in Stone. 24 shops and businesses have signed up to host the windows and we have 24 organisations making the wonderful displays to go into the windows based on Christmas Carols to tell the wonderful Christmas story.
An extra aspect this year is also to remember the 100th anniversary of the Great War so windows should also feature a poppy somewhere – see if you can spot it!
Each day in December the window will open at 11:00 am so please come along whenever you can to join in the singing and to see the High Street come alive with Christmas! Maps and programmes will be available soon.
Then on Christmas Eve there will be a marathon singing trail around as many of the windows as we can manage – finishing at Christ Church to view a wonderful display and enjoy lots of lovely refreshments.
